Fashion Parade and Refreshments
Coming up on Saturday 21st July mark you diary to attend our Wearable Art Event. Full details will be posted out as soon as available. Being organised by Diana Burns who is looking for inspired wearable art designs for a fashion parade with social get together and refreshments provided for entry fee.

Conditions of entry:

ANYTHING GOES! Make & create something wearable that is amazingly fantasmogoric,
lusciously sensual, dastardly wicked or just plain fabulous in any material you choose (could be textile of any type, hide, fabric paper, plastic, plant, metal).

You may make as many show-stopping outfits as you please but YOU, or a model of your choosing has to model it at the fundraising afternoon tea to be held 21 July from 2pm to 5pm. You are also to supply your own extra “bits” you or your model may wish to wear with your outfit(s) – be they flashing lights, wigs etc. All garments to be at the Shire Hall by lunch time 21 July.

The fundraiser is designed to be a fun event and the prizes, including Peoples Choice, will reflect this. Entry fee to the fundraiser is discounted for designers and models to $10.00 per head – this includes afternoon tea, fashion show, Belly Dancing etc.
