Wearable Art 2013 - Theme - Tropical Water Fantasy

1. ANYTHING that your imagination conjures up that fits into the theme Tropical Water Fantasy goes! So create and model something wearable that is amazingly fantasmorgoric, lusciously sensual, dastardly wicked or just plain fabulous in any material ( a few examples of this are textile, plastic, hide, paper, plant fibre or metal … the list goes on).
   

Cook Shire Council has donated a prize for the garment that makes the best and most imaginative use of recycled materials.

1. You may create as many show stopping outfits as you please but YOU, or a model of your choosing, has to model them at the fundraiser to be held in the Shire Hall on Saturday 20 July from 5.30pm to 8.00pm. All “extra bits” eg flashing lights, wigs etc are to be supplied by you.
   
2. ENTRY FORM WITH A FULL DESCRIPTION OF YOUR CREATION IS TO BE RECEIVED by Diana Burns at the library BY FRIDAY 12 JULY 2013.
   
3. Completed outfits to be delivered to the Shire Hall by 12noon Saturday 20 July
   
4. The artist/creator remains copyright owner of their wearable art outfits at all times and will be acknowledged as such. The artist/creator will allow their work(s) to be used in any media reporting of the event unless otherwise stated.
   

The Cooktown school of Art Society Inc shall not be held responsible for any damage that your wearable artwork may incur. Insurance of work is the responsibility of the artist/creator
